| Henry Reyes
Co-owner of
The Joshua Tree and a native South Texan, Henry completed his
elementary schooling in Corpus Christi where he attended high
school at West Oso High. His father owned and operated a
concrete and asphalt business for some 26 years and so began his
experience with concrete. He has completed many projects for
the Corpus Christi Botanical Gardens from stamped concrete
walkways to beautifully handcrafted arbors, a wetlands boardwalk
and the plumeria observation deck. He and his wife, Cristy,
enjoy the gardens themselves and see this work as an opportunity
to help to create an atmosphere to showcase some of Corpus
Christi’s natural beauty. Henry has also been involved with
voluntary relief work to aid recent hurricane victims and other
victims of natural disasters. Henry believes that high morals
and excellent citizenship is at the heart of any good business
and especially one in a position that services people. His wife
Cristy works part time in the family business as an interior
designer. You may see some of her work visiting local eateries
in Corpus Christi. Her talents range from
interior design to floral designs. She
assists the business in many of the color and pattern selections
or recommendations. Her portfolio is available upon request.
Cristy and Henry have two other children as well.
Joshua Reyes
Co-owner of The Joshua
Tree and a native South Texan, Josh began his early education at
Windsor Park Elementary here in Corpus Christi. He actually
began his love of woodworking at Baker Middle School in the
Athena program where he chose woodworking as an elective. At
this early age he began his love for his craft and has spent
many years honing this craft. He has served the community of
Louisiana right alongside his father with his voluntary efforts
with hurricane victims and other natural disasters as well. The
apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as Joshua also holds to the
same values and principles his father does. His wife Mandi
works part time in the family business as a bookkeeper and sales
consultant when she is not volunteering in works benefiting the
community. They each devote some 70 hours per month to helping
people improve their lives in a voluntary bible education work.
Henry and Cristy and
Joshua and Mandi invite you to let them beautify your home or
office with any of their design services. They look forward to
working with you to create an atmosphere that you will enjoy for
years to come. |
